- Web shop updates.......... we've been busy chipping away at making our www.lambrettaspares.com even better. NEW DROP DOWNS SHOPPING MADE EASY On the left hand drop downs we have made simple shopping lists. You can do your engine, starting at the beginning as MB rebuild engines, click on it and a full list of engine parts are available all sectioned up which is also listed on the left hand side, if your building or repairing an engine in sections. You can also click on other sections...... forks, tyres, front hub, rear hub and were working on more. We prompt you to order the correct amounts, you can add a quantity by clicking 'add to basket' it changes to red to tell you you have added the part already to your shopping basket, top right in the header tells you how many parts you have added to your basket and how much you have spent, if we are out of stock it shows you and you can 'notify me', you can go down the list ticking away and at check out you can increase or decrease the amounts. There is a button at the top and bottom to add to 'check out' and there is also a button so you can print it out, go in the garage, make notes and either buy from the web or pop in the shop to buy. PROMPT US TO NOTIFY YOU ON STOCK We have updated our parts when they go out of stock, all automatically though our stock taking system, if a part goes to zero and for whatever reason we have not restocked it you can now click 'notify me' a little box pops up where you fill in your name, address and the quantity that you tell us you are interested in buying if we got more stock, we are notified automatically to prompt us to reorder, when we re stock you get a automated reply with a link and you can buy if you want. NEW TECH SITE Marks been updating the new version TECH SITE which can be found at the top on the header. There is loads of new information and photos for lots of technical subjects, get the info direct from the horses mouth, it says it how it is based on many years specialising in Lambrettas. Don't trust a forum thread, this info comes from the man who does this stuff daily. Were already seeing links cut and pasted and people reiterating information found there on forums so some are reading and using the information.
